You cannot upgrade your MT4 trading platform to MT5.

If you like to have MT5 trading platform, you will need to install the MT5 trading platform to your device directly.

MT4 and MT5 are different

Although, MT4 and MT5 trading platforms are very similar visually and in terms of usability, these are 2 different trading platforms.

Thus, you can’t use MT4 platform to login to MT5 platform and vise versa.

If you currently have MT4 trading accounts and like to have MT5 accounts too, then you will need to open new MT5 accounts and download MT5 trading platform.
