Question: Why I can't select different order fill policies on MT4/MT5 trading platforms?
Normally, you should be able to choose one “Fill Policy” out of 3 options when you order in the “Order” window, but sometimes your Forex broker restrict the type of Fill policies available on MT5 as below.
There are 3 Fill Policies available, which are “Fill or Kill”, “Immediate or Cancel” or “Return”.
If your Forex broker’s trading server simply restrict the type of Fill Policies, then you cannot select other Fill Policies than the specified one.
Also, the type of “Fill Policies” are restricted by the “Execution Models” of your Forex brokers.

*”Execution Model” is type of process when an order is executed by trading servers.
*”Fill Policy” is an execution setting for an order being executed on the platform.
