The “Calculation” parameter indicates the method used for margin calculation of the selected financial instrument.
There are 9 different Calculation methods available on MetaTrader5 platform.

- CFD
- CFD Leverage
- CFD Index
- Futures
- Exchange Futures
- Exchange Stocks
- FORTS Futures
- Collateral
The method is different by each symbol or the type of financial product, and you can not change the method on the platform.
For margin calculation, there are also two main factors that affect the calculation which are Leverage and Contract Size.
