Why my positions open above the price line in the chart with XM?

A MT4 chart shows only Sell price(Bid price) by default. That is the price you need to check when you open a sell position(Short position).

If Buy position(Long position), it will be executed at the price above the Sell price.

The difference between these prices are called “Spread“.

To make it appear the Buy price line,

1, Right click on the chart and select “Properties”.

2, Go to “Common” tab and check the “Show Ask line”.
