Is it free to use HFcopy?

Clients are not charged any administrative fees for joining HFcopy.

There is however a Performance Fee payable by the Follower to the Strategy Provider – only in case his performance is positive.

I already have a HotForex trading account. Will I need a new one?

Yes. HFcopy Follower account is a separate account type.

Therefore one cannot join the program with any other account type.

Can I be both a Strategy Provider and a Follower?

Yes, you can.

You will however need to open separate Follower and Strategy Provider trading accounts.

How can I copy the trades of a Strategy Provider account?

The steps to follow are:

1. Choose Strategy Provider account
2. Add funds to your Follower account
3. Set Rescue Level
4. Set Volume Allocation

Do I have to copy all the trades of the Strategy Provider?

From the time you start following, newly-opened trades will be automatically copied to your Follower account.

Previous trades and currently open trades will not be copied.

Can I amend or close copied trades?

You can close any open trade that has been copied to your Follower’s account. You cannot amend it.

Can I follow more than one Strategy Provider accounts?

A Follower can open up to 3 Follower accounts.

Each Follower account can only follow one Strategy Provider account at a time.

You can disconnect any of your Follower accounts from a particular Strategy Provider account and start following another one at any given point.

How do I stop following a Strategy Provider account?

You can choose to un-follow the Strategy Provider account at any given time through your myHotForex area.

If there are open trades in your Follower account, they will be closed at the time of disconnection.

If the market is closed for any of your open trades, you cannot un-follow – you will have to retry when it opens.

You can however remove all available free margin and close your positions manually.

What happens if the Strategy Provider closes the account I follow?

You will be notified and automatically disconnected from the specific Strategy Provider account.

Your available funds will then be transferred to your myWallet and you can start following a new Strategy Provider account.

What platforms does HFcopy work on?

MT4 desktop, web-terminal and MT4 mobile platforms.

What is the Performance Fee? How much can I charge?

Each Strategy Provider sets the desired Performance Fee at the time of account opening. Followers can see this percentage in the performance page of each Strategy Provider. Once the Performance Fee of the specific strategy is set, it can no longer be changed.

The steps to become a Provider are:

1. Create your strategy account
2. Fund your account
3. Trade to show your skills & attract Followers
4. Receive Performance Fee

Strategy Providers are subject to approval following a suitability test and based on their previous trading history.

Are there any trading restrictions?

Yes, there are a few restrictions:

• Not all products offered by HotForex are available to be traded by Strategy Providers.
• Some MT4 features, such as Close By and Multiple Close By, are disabled in Strategy Provider accounts.
