High Volatility is expected due to Corporates Events in US -Margin to be Increased-

Please note that due to the expected corporate events in several US companies from October 19th to 21st, margin requirements on some financial instruments will be increased.

The required margins for the following Stock CFDs on IFC Markets’s trading platforms will be increased from 2.5% to 20%, as in the maximum leverage will be reduced from 1:40 to 1:5 for the specified period.

The table above shows the period of increased marginal requirements in “Margin Increased from”(Margin change date) and “Margin Increased until”(Period of event ending date) columns.

In this regard, you are recommended that you cut the volume of previously opened and future positions to the admissible level of your deposit or that you deposit more funds to your account.

Moreover, the event may take place before the Period of event ending date, so margin may be reduced to 2.5% before the stipulated date.
