What is MT5 Derived account? How can I open this account?

Deriv has made some changes to Deriv MT5 in September 2022.

In place of the MT5 Synthetics account, you will now see an MT5 Derived account.

All your favourite Synthetics instruments will be available to trade in the Derived account.

Basket Indices are also moving from the Deriv Financial account to the Derived account.

In September, these changes are in preparation for launching some new and exciting instruments in coming weeks.

From 3rd October 2022 onwards, you will not be able to open a new position with Basket Indices in MT5 Financial account. Basket Indices will move under MT5 Derived. If you want to continue trading Basket indices, you will be able to do it only through your Derived account.
